The speaker of parliament has visited bed ridden MPs Nsereko and Betty Nambooze today afternoon.
The MPs were hurt in a scuffle at parliament on September 27th when SFC forces stormed parliament chambers and rudely threw out MPs after she [Kadaga] ordered for suspension of over 20 MPs.
The MPs were opposed to president Museveni’s life presidency project that was being presented to parliament through an age limit amendment bill.
While at Bugoloobi health centre, where MP Nambooze is admitted two weeks now, the speaker promised to provide necessary help, to help the Mukono legislature go for further medical attention as recommended by her doctors.
According to Nambooze’s Dr, she is being treated for lumbar disc prolapse and compression, an injury to the spine sustained from trauma to her spine.
He said the condition now requires medical operation from a better facility and they are proposing she either goes to India, Kenya or South Africa. The speaker promised to help in the processing of all needed documents from parliament.
